Islamabad Police Introduces Latest Net Launcher Ahead of September 27 March

Islamabad, September 24, 2026: Islamabad Police have been equipped with modern net launchers, a non-lethal policing tool designed to help officers restrain suspects and deal with difficult law-and-order situations. The equipment has been introduced in the federal capital as authorities prepare for the planned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) march scheduled for September 27.

New Net Launcher Added to Islamabad Police Equipment

It is also expected to assist officers in making arrests and handling emergency situations where safely restraining a person is required. Reports indicate that the equipment could be used in Islamabad for the first time during the upcoming protest if demonstrators reach the capital. However, its actual deployment will depend on the circumstances and police decisions during the event.
